Lavandula Events processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

• First and last name
• Home address
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• Date of birth
• Bank account number
• Wedding date

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process: Lavandula Events processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you:

• Sexual preference (e.g. gay marriage).
• Religion (e.g. in case of a church wedding)
• Ethnic origin
• Health (e.g. if this affects the execution of the agreement)

3. For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data:

Lavandula Events processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Handling your payment.
• To be able to call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services.
• To properly carry out the services as agreed upon. – To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping records.

4. Sharing your personal data with third parties:

Lavandula Events does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if it is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Lavandula Events remains responsible for this processing. Where else are your data stored:

5. How long we keep your personal data:

Lavandula Events does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

• Name data & Bank account number > Retention period: 7 years after sending the last invoice > Reason: legal obligation
• Special personal data & Date of birth > Retention period: 4 years after completion of the agreement > Reason: for the proper performance of the agreed services.

6. Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Lavandula Events uses cookies on its website. The use of cookies on the Lavandula Events website is solely for the benefit of the technical functionality of the website. So that the website works properly, is optimized and your preferences are remembered.

7. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Lavandula Events and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to natascha@lavandulaevents.com.

To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

8. How we secure personal data

Lavandula Events takes the protection of your data very seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. 9. Automated decision-making

Lavandula Events does not make decisions based on automated processing about things that can (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being in between.

10. Social Media

Communication via the various social media channels (Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram) and sharing privacy sensitive information, is your own responsibility. Therefore, this privacy statement does not apply to how social media platforms handle the data you provide. Please note that many social media platforms are based outside the European Union and store data outside the European Union. European Union privacy laws then usually do not apply. We recommend that you carefully read the privacy statement of these social media channels.

This privacy statement (v. 1 – dated October 14, 2021) is effective as of May 25, 2018. Lavandula Events reserves the right to make changes to our privacy statement. The current version is published on our website.
